Eurotunnel's Le Shuttle Freight service has announced a temporary overnight suspension on the night of 20th to 21st January 2024, due to a bi-national safety exercise coordinated with French and British authorities.
The safety exercise is in line with Eurotunnel’s commitment to prioritising customer safety. During this period, there will be no Le Shuttle Freight services. The last freight shuttle departure on Saturday night will be at 21:22 from Folkestone and 22:22 from Calais.
The temporary suspension will be lifted with the first freight shuttle departure on Sunday morning. Departures will resume at 05:22 from Folkestone and 06:22 from Calais.
